Kastner Westman & Wilkins’ attorney Catherine Gambill will provide legal updates and practical guidance for employers and HR professionals regarding best practices for dealing with requests for accommodations pursuant to the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. In reviewing the basic legal requirements of the PWFA, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (“EEOC”) recent interpretive guidance on such law, this course seeks to equip attendees with the knowledge and strategic tools needed to legally and effectively comply with the PWFA, and understand how it differs from, and intersects with, other employment laws.
